Some of you were hoping the countdown was pointing to a new release but, to be honest, no further work was done on Earthrise after the official shutdown in February. We only began working on fixing bugs and increasing performance with a team of programmers just a few short days ago.

Answers to some frequently asked questions...

Over the last few days we have focussed on listening to your comments on the countdown and Earthrise - in addition to our normal daily work, of course. Here are the answers to your most frequently asked questions:

Q: Will the lag be reduced and performance increased?
A: Definitely, that's actually the main task of every single programmer here.

Q: Will Earthrise be Free-to-Play?
A: Yes it will. And it won't turn into Pay-to-Win or Freemium, either. We plan on offering mainly visual items in the shop.

Q: Will Earthrise be localized?
A: Yes, it will. In addition to English, we are initially planning on adding German, Russian and French localizations.

Q: Can I use my old Key/Code?
A: Sorry, that isn’t currently planned. However, should that change, we will definitely announce it.

Q: Will my old character survive?
A: Sorry, the necessary improvements to performance mean that those old characters won't be coming back.
